Snowshoeing

When New England is blanketed with snow the best way to get around the back country is on snowshoes. Snow shoeing is an amazing way to have access to the heart of our wilderness areas with ease. If you have never tried snowshoeing before, no worries, we can guide you every step of the way! Come join the Atlantic Climbing School on half day and full day snow shoeing trips in the wintry wonderlands of Acadia Nation Park and Camden Hills State park.

Come challenge yourself with a winter ascent of Cadillac Mountain or the Precipice trail in Acadia. Enjoy a personalized tour of some of Acadia’s less traveled carriage roads.  If you are in mid-coast Maine come spend a day traversing of the Camden hills, stopping along the way to explore caves and frozen waterfalls.

All of our snowshoeing courses are personalized based on your goals, age and fitness level. Join our highly trained local guides and learn all about the flora and fauna of the Maine woods. During all of our courses we will learn about proper equipment selection and care. We will cover techniques to maximize efficient winter travel. Come see how magical our parks can be in the winter with a personalized snowshoeing trip!
