Guide Tracking Program

Atlantic Climbing School's Guide Tracking Program is designed to provide a clear pathway for young guides to progress in the American Mountain Guides Association's Rock Guide discipline.

By combining AMGA courses and certification with ACS employment, guides can complete the initial steps that ultimately lead to Rock Guide certification.
Acadia National Park is an ideal setting for a qualified guide to obtain valuable experience in the AMGA's foundational rock terrain categories: single pitch rock climbing instruction and multi pitch rock climbing guiding on Rock Instructor terrain.

A season spent working as a climbing guide on the coast of Maine is a unique experience. The work environment is second to none and time off ensures that you'll be able to sample plenty of local outdoor recreation options like climbing, hiking, sea kayaking, cycling, trail running, swimming, and sailing. A Pro Purchase program with leading manufacturers is available. All ACS guides are fully covered under Workers' Compensation Insurance.
